Laurent Schmitz from Belgium with his scratch built Aichi D3A1 'Val'. Wingspan 70", 8.8lbs with 16cells KAN3000 (2.3lbs of batteries...). Engine: Electronic Model Twister .60 Outrunner brushless. Prop: APC 13x8" for more efficiency or Graupner 12,5x7" 3-blade. Finish is silver Solartex covered with latex paint. Don Williams Val. This unusual warbird was designed by Don Williams and detailed and painted by Bob Noser and Jim Bliss of Houston, Texas. She has a 91" wingspan and a US 41 for power.

Carey Hook from Swartz Creek MI with his KI-100 from Claude Baskin plans, 89" span powered by a G-38 with retracts and flaps. Lost it on the maiden flight. Carey say's "At least I have a pic of it before she went in."
